About the speaker
Susan is Professor of Technologies and Informatics at the Institute for Transport Studies, University of Leeds and a Fellow of the Alan Turing Institute. Susan leads the Digital Futures theme at ITS and a programme of research into the role of new forms of data in developing sustainable transport policy. A statistician by discipline she is concerned with the use of social media, mobility profiling and the role of web enabled technologies in transport and related sectors. Her current interests lie in understanding the health and equity impacts of ICT enabled mobility infrastructure and the governance models for micro-level user-generated data.
